Wedding Story of Galina and Alexander Muradov

Wedding Story of Galina and Alexander Muradov

Galina and Sasha met through Sasha's best friend. For a while they were just friends - just like everybody else in their small group of young people. Galina remembers the moment when they turned into an “official couple” from being just friends. It happened in Montreal where they spent a vacation together. Four months later they rented an apartment together and Sasha gave Galina a “promise ring”. When a young woman accepts a ring like that, it means that she is ready for a commitment, a wedding and a long life ahead together. Even though the heroes of our story live in Connecticut, Galina always wanted to have her wedding in New York. She comes from Odessa and enjoys the loud and festive New York City life much more than that of quiet American suburbia. Plus, Sasha had officially proposed at one of New York's parks. Certainly, this made it much harder for them to plan their wedding than for those who live in New York. This is where “Russian Bride” magazine provided them with a lot of assistance. Galina says that she is forever thankful to our magazine for our review of the “Galit” Bridal Salon: “Galit” made all her dreams come true, and Galina got exactly the dress she pictured in her imagination. Another great tip that our newlyweds got from “Russian Bride” was their photographer, Vital from VITALPHOTO. Prior to that, Galina had been searching for photographers for more than six months and couldn't make a choice. Video and photos from a wedding are the cornerstones of the family archive that will give our grandchildren a chance to find out how beautiful their grandparents were on their wedding day!

&nbsp&nbspGalina's efforts searching for a perfect photographer for their wedding didn't go to waste - indeed, the photography by VITALPHOTO and videography by Apogee Studio turned out to be beautiful. On the day of the wedding, the first stop was the Armenian Cathedral Church. A festive and spectacular ceremony was followed by a banquet at the Ermitage Catering Hall. Galina and Sasha entrusted the Ermitage professionals with completely setting up the reception - the hall's decoration, music, floral arrangements, and the Hermitage florist completed even the bridal bouquet. Galina says that she has never regretted deciding on a “full service” wedding package. Everything was beautiful and tastefully decorated, while saving the newlyweds time and effort, and probably some expenses as well.

&nbsp&nbspCurrently, Galina and Alexander are residing in their new house in Connecticut. They send their greetings to all the readers of “Russian Bride” magazine. They suggest all New Yorkers, and especially those who live elsewhere close by but have decided, as they did, to celebrate their wedding in the Big Apple, to read closely and trust the advice and the advertisers in the magazine.
